When we go to the beach, we set up whatever umbrella is available as soon as we hit the sand. It's a stressful set up. I get nervous the wind will kick the umbrella up out of the sand and send it flying down the beach.

This summer, I didn't want to fuss with a traditional beach umbrella and started to look for better options.

Before going on our beach vacation I quickly looked at reviews for shades. I looked at reviews for the most popular beach shades (Shibumi and CoolCabana) and eventually came across the Qipi Beach Cabana. The Qipi costs much less than the most popular brands and has great online reviews. I didn't have time to order before we left for vacation, so I decided to see if the vacation rental house had an umbrella option before last minute ordering.

When we got to the vacation rental house, there was no umbrella! We spent 2 days on the beach with no umbrella (thankfully the days were mild and breezy). I ordered the Qipi Beach Cabana (after day 1 with no umbrella) from the rental house and it arrived quickly with 2 day shipping.

I ordered the Qipi Beach Cabana because the online reviews said the cabana is easy to set up, held up in wind and one review directly compared the Qipi to the more expensive CoolCabana. It was also available for 2 day delivery on Amazon for about $86! I got the Siesta Beach color because it was the option available for quick delivery at a good price.

When the Qipi Beach Cabana arrived, it met all of my expectations and I was very happy to have it. It was easy to carry down to the beach, easy to set up, held up in wind, provided enough shade for our family, pattern was pleasing, mesh pockets are convenient and easy to disassemble.

One tip, if you set up the cabana deeper in the sand than recommended, your sand anchors will be loose. You can dig holes under the sand anchors to tighten them, or you can fold the large sand pocket over the extra fabric.

I'm looking forward to using our Qipi Beach Cabana again next year! It's a relief to look forward to using a beach shade and not feel stressed out over it!
